Binghamton Man Charged With Attempted Murder

Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) A Binghamton man is charged with attempted murder after a shooting at an apartment complex.

Taqwon Griffin, 22, of Binghamton is charged with attempted murder in the second degree.

Binghamton Police said Griffin is arrested for the shooting near the Town and Country Apartments on November 13.

19-year-old Clifford Harris was shot several times in the leg. He was treated and released from the hospital.

Griffin was taken into custody on Broome Street on Thursday. He was arraigned in City Court and taken to the Broome County Jail.
