Man Charged with Intimidating Victim of Alleged Kidnapping

Rome, PA (WBNG Binghamton) A Pennsylvania man charged with kidnapping and simple assault is charged again, this time for intimidating his victim.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, Steven Brown, 37, is charged with kidnapping a 43 year old woman back in October.

The kidnapping resulted in a 14-hour standoff with law enforcement at Brown's residence in Rome.

Police say that from November 2, 2012 through November 19, Brown repeatedly called his victim and encouraged her provide the Bradford County District Attorney with new information so the charges would be dropped.

Brown is now charged with intimidation of witnesseses or victims.

Police sent him back to the Bradford County Jail on $65,000 bail.
