Man Found Dead in Ithaca

Ithaca, NY (WBNG Binghamton) A man is found dead in a wooded area in Ithaca.

December 1 around 3:00 a.m., Ithaca Police Officers were
called to a wooded area between Fulton, Cecil A. Malone, and Brindley Streets, also known as the "jungle," for the report of a
male that had been found to be unresponsive and not breathing.

The 53-year-old man was dead and police say that there were no obvious signs of foul play.

The name of the victim is not yet released, pending notification of family.

The investigation is ongoing.

Ithaca Police were on scene as well as the Ithaca Fire Department and Bangs Ambulance personnel.
