Man Hides Heroin in Instant Potatoes Box

Lenox Twp, PA (WBNG Binghamton) Thousands of bags of heroin in a box of instant mashed potatoes.

That's what authorities uncovered during a routine traffic stop.

It happened Monday around 12:30 p.m. in the afternoon in Lenox Township in Susquehanna County.

Lloyd Rashad Brown, 30, of Syracuse, is facing drug charges after Pennsylvania State Police searched his car and found in the trunk 1,000 bags of heroin in a sealed box of instant potatoes.

The street value of the drugs is $25,000.

Brown is currently in the Susquehanna County Correctional Facility.
