Man Shoots and Kills Wife

Village of Franklin, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Delaware County Sheriff's Office released more information into a murder-suicide investigation.

They say a SUNY Delhi professor shot and killed his wife before shooting himself Wednesday morning.

58-year-old Willis Brown shot his wife Wendy Brown, before shooting himself.

Delaware County Sheriff's Office report they received a 911 call Wednesday morning. A male caller from the Brown's residence, said he had killed his wife and would be taking his own life, according to the 911 center.

When an off-duty deputy arrived to the home at 123 Main Street in the Village of Franklin, he found both Wendy and Willis dead. Wendy's death is being ruled a homicide.

Willis taught classes at SUNY Delhi.

The motive of the murder-suicide is unknown.
