Deputies investigate bomb threat, one arrested

Horseheads, NY (WBNG Binghamton) An Elmira man was arrested after he called in a bomb threat to a store in the Arnot Mall.

According to deputies, an employee at Lid's hat store called 911 on Tuesday after receiving the threat. Investigators searched the store and found no signs of a bomb.

David Lopez, 29, was arrested by the Chemung County Sheriff’s Office and charged with falsely reporting an incident in the second degree, a class E felony.
