Laceyville, PA (WBNG Binghamton) A Montrose man remained on the loose late Tuesday after stabbing a woman multiple times with a flat-head screw driver.

Pennsylvania State Police are currently searching for Howard Thomas Walter Jr., 44, of Montrose. A photo of Thomas isn't available.

According to state police, Walter was driving on Ruger Hollow Road with a 39-year old woman and got into an argument.

The argument turned physical when Walter allegedly stabbed the woman multiple times in the body with a flat-head screw driver, according to a news release.

The woman was able to exit the car and run to a nearby home for help. An arrest warrant is out for Walter. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911.
