Harmony, Twp., PA (WBNG Binghamton) A Susquehanna man was charged with felony aggravated assault after threatening to kill his children and then himself.
Pennsylvania State Police in Gibson arrested William Wayman, Jr., 34, of Harmony Twp., Pa., after receiving reports that he was going to kill his children and then he would kill himself.
When officers arrived, Wayman allegedly pointed a shotgun at members of the Susquehanna County Task Force. Police say one officer fired one round at Wayman which caused him to surrender without incident.
Wayman was arraigned in Montrose on two counts of felony aggravated assault. He was taken to the Susquehanna County Jail in lieu of bail.
