Town of Bath, NY (WBNG Binghamton) A missing woman was found dead Saturday in a hunting blind about 15 feet off the ground in the Town of Bath.

According to the Steuben County Sheriff's Office, Bobbi Jo Margeson-Hatter, 40, Bath, was pronounced dead at 11:30 a.m.

She was reported missing on March 19 by a family member. She was last seen walking down the road she lived on, Chamberlin Road, toward County Route 14.

Since March 19, several agencies have been searching the area for her. On March 21, an organized ground search turned up nothing.

Now, the agencies are investigating what happened before Margeson-Hatter was found dead. She was found face down inside the hunting blind in a clearing about a quarter mile from County Route 14.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Steuben Sheriff's Office at 607-622-3911.

Margeson-Hatter was removed from the scene Sunday afternoon. An autopsy will be performed.
