Greene, NY (WBNG Binghamton) A mock accident showed a head on collision with injuries and fatalities.

Greene High School teams up with emergency crews for a mock drunk driving crash to show students the dangers of drinking and driving.

The Greene Fire Department, EMS crews and a helicopter responded to play out their roles at the scene.

Students acted out the crash and crews went through the motions of clearing a scene and treating injuries.

Crews even used the jaws of life to remove students from the vehicles and debris.

"It's easier to just think about it and be like 'Oh, that's never going to happen to me,' but when you see people that effect you, that can really get to you," Diana Myers said.

Students involved hope that with prom season on the way, this will stop students from getting behind the wheel after doing anything that would impair their judgment.
