Johnson City, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The community responds in a big way to bring warmth to others this holiday season.

More than 700 coats will be handed out through Coats for Kids.

During the drive, new or gently-used coats were dropped off at Raymour and Flanigan in Johnson City. They were taken to be cleaned at Jim's Formal Wear.

Through the end of the year, people may stop by Family Enrichment Network on Cherry Street in Johnson City and pick out coats for their kids or themselves.

Coats are already starting to be handed out.

"The children's sizes have been coming in and out very quickly. We do have a lot of adult sizes available. Our clients as well members of the community are welcome to stop by during our business hours and pick up a coat that would fit them or a family member." said Cindy Martin, Family Enrichment Network.

Martin says coats will be handed out through the end of the year.

WBNG and CDPHP were also sponsors of Coats for Kids.
