Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) A mother has been charged in connection with the fall of a toddler from a third story window last week.

Josette Massol, 24, has been charged with Endangering The Welfare of a Child - a misdemeanor.

Last Thursday, Massol's 2 1/2 year old daughter Jaslene Comacho was found lying in the mud outside of 27 Charlotte Street around noon.

Neighbors at the apartment complex heard screaming, found the child, and called 911.

The child was last listed in critical condition but stable condition at Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse.

As of Tuesday, Binghamton Police say they have no information about the child's condition.

Massol is due back in court next Tuesday.
