Motorcyclist sent to hospital after morning crash (with photos)

Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) One person was sent to the hospital after a car and motorcycle collided in Binghamton.

According to Binghamton Police, the crash happened at Brandywine Avenue and Eldridge Street at around 7 a.m. Tuesday.

Witnesses told Action News the motorcycle was doing wheelies down the road and lost control, and that's when a gold car hit him.

The driver of the vehicle said the motorcyclist flew up and over his car upon impact, which damaged his windshield.

The status of the motorcyclist has not been released.

Binghamton Police shut down one lane of both Brandywine Avenue and Eldridge Street.
