Multi-Car Crash Backs Up Traffic

Johnson City, NY (WBNG Binghamton) A five-vehicle crash backs up traffic on Route 17 East.

New York State Police and Johnson City Police responded after 7 a.m. Wednesday to Route 17 near the Johnson City exit.

After 7:00 a.m., one vehicle rear-ended another causing a chain reaction. Five total vehicles were involved.

One person was taken to Wilson Hospital with minor injuries.

Traffic on Route 17 was stalled while the crash scene was cleared.
