Endicott, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Nationwide Credit, Inc. is in the process of moving its call center location from Vestal to Endicott.

NCI is moving out of its site at University Plaza on the Vestal Parkway to 1093 Clark St. in Endicott.

According to marketing director Kristi Kovalak, NCI currently employs more than 750 people working at both locations.

Last spring, NCI announced it was adding 300 jobs locally. New York State Electric and Gas and NCI announced Friday that up to 180 of those new jobs are the result of a three year contract.

NCI will perform credit and collection work for NYSEG, RG&E and Central Maine Power. The work had previously been done in North Carolina and Ohio.

“We are delighted to bring this work back to New York and fuel job growth here,” said Mark S. Lynch, president and CEO of NYSEG and RG&E. “The quality of NCI’s services and the proximity of the Endicott call center to our Binghamton and Rochester offices will benefit everyone. This new arrangement is clearly the right thing to do for our customers and our communities.”

NCI plans to hire 50 more customer service representatives and hiring will be done through the Vestal office.
