(WBNG Binghamton) A big storm is on it's way and NYSEG wants to make sure you're prepared.

NYSEG says they are worried that strong winds and trees could take out power during tomorrow's expected snow storm.

If you depend on electric life support equipment, call NYSEG before the storm hits.

Make sure you are stocked up on batteries and have flashlights and keep cell phones charged.

NYSEG advises if the power does go out, to turn off all major appliances and electronic equipment, but leave at least one light switched turned on so you will know when the power comes back.
