Harpursville, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The Animal Adventure Park welcomes two new guests and does a little match making.

Two new kangaroos are joining Boomer at the park in Harpursville.

The mom and her joey arrived just 48 hours ago.

Owner Jordan Patch says both guests are doing great. The mother, Kiera, is showing some nervous behavior, but Patch says he's not concerned.

The idea behind bringing the new ladies to the park was to find Boomer a girlfriend.

"Boomer needs a girlfriend so what we did was brought mom with her baby in the pouch. The baby in the pouch is to be Boomer's girlfriend to help make it a smooth transition," Patch said.

Mom is set to leave the park, but not until the joey is fully adapted. That could take up to six months.
