Vestal, NY (WBNG Binghamton) We first reported Saturday night about a dead body found off a road in Vestal.
Sunday, a neighbor who saw the body speaks to Action News.
Vestal Police responded to the scene on Underwood Road around 4:00 Friday Afternoon, after a report of body found along the bank.
Larry Anderson owns the property next door to where to body was found.
"I saw two fellows standing there and then they walked off," he described. "And when they walked off, I saw the body. It looked like a tall man, had like a hunting coat on and boots. I shined my light on so I can see it a little better, and it was toes down, face down in the snow just off the creek."
Vestal Police are leading the investigation, with help from the fire department and New York State Police.
They have positively identified the 46 year old man.
An autopsy is expected to be performed Monday, when we expect to learn more.
