Cooperstown, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Senator Charles Schumer made a stop in Cooperstown for some "cheesy" talks.

Schumer announced Wedneseday cheese straight from the Cooperstown Cheese Company will be served at the 2013 Presidential Inaugural Luncheon.

Schumer is head of the ceremony and said the meal is one of the most popular eating events of the year.

"It's almost a dream come true that I became head of the inauguration," said Schumer. " Why? Because I can now feature and highlight New York agricultural products so that the whole world sees them."

Schumer said attendees are very interested in what is served. He expects the event will boost sales for Cooperstown Cheese.

The menu also includes wine from New York and a Hudson Valley apple pie.
