Towanda, PA (WBNG Binghamton) The Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office said a new judge will preside at the murder trial of John Desisti in Bradford County.
Lycoming County Senior Judge Kenneth Brown has been appointed.
Desisti, 75, of Waverly, is charged with two counts of murder and one count of burglary in connection with the deaths of his cousin Carol Keeffe and her husband David.
The Keeffe's were found shot to death in 2006 at their home in Athen's Township.
The court ruled last month that Desisti is competent to stand trial.
His next scheduled appearance is March 14 in Bradford County Court.
