Binghamton, N.Y. (WBNG Binghamton) New technology at the Binghamton Zoo gives the public a behind the scenes look at the animals.

Sentry Alarms teamed up with the zoo to provide a viewing monitor for three newly born river otter pups, named Arya, Edgar, and Ottawa.

The zoo stated that the monitor will allow visitors to watch the animals grow without interrupting the pups and their mother.

"Part of our education mission is seeing, and I think the more we can allow and enable the public to see the creatures in a variety of behaviors and habitats, I think the better the educational process is," stated zoo director Steven Contento.

The technology is similar to the device installed at the Red Panda exhibit in June.
