Newfield shooting suspect found in NYC

(WBNG Binghamton) Police find the man wanted for an early spring double shooting at a Newfield trailer park.

Police in New York City arrested Donnell Harrison, 35, on Tuesday.

Harrison is accused of shooting Cory Heffron, 26, and Matthew Dewey, 27, both of Newfield, at a trailer park on April 30.

Both men sustained minor injuries from the incident.

The Tompkins County Sheriff's Office had assistance in locating Harrison from New York State Police, New York City Police and the U.S. Marshals.

Harrison is charged with two counts of first-degree assault, a felony.

He was arraigned in the Town of Enfield Court and remanded to Tompkins County Jail on $250,000 cash bail or $500,000 bond.
