Owego, NY (WBNG Binghamton) - It's a one of a kind event in Owego. It takes you back in time to the old days of living on a farm.

Nearly 6,000 people joined in on the fun down at Rudin's Farms all weekend.

It's the 28th annual Olde Tyme Farm Days.

There's plenty of chicken barbeque, antique tractors and vendors.

You could go for a ride on a pony and take a hay ride.

Kids enjoyed petting farm animals, some even rode sheep!

But the largest crowds formed in front of the wild west show in Old Western Town.

The event started in 1982 as a birthday party for Rudin Family Members.

Now it's one of the largest farm heritage festivals in Central New York.

"We had a couple horses and oats to thrash at the party. People start stopping and watching. They liked it and I thought the following year, we'd do a little more and that's where it all began," said Terry Rudin, Owner of Rudin's Farm.

There were also two sawmill demonstrations and a blue ribbon auction.
