(WBNG Binghamton) One person was killed Sunday afternoon in a one-car crash on State Route 206 in the Town of Colchester, according to a news release from the Delaware County Sheriff's Office.
According to the news release from the Delaware County Sheriff's Office:
On November 25 at approximately 4:30 p.m. Sheriff’s Deputies investigated a one-car fatal motor vehicle accident on State Route 206 in the Town of Colchester.
George Swan, 53, of Ridgewood New Jersey was pronounced dead at the scene by Delaware County Medical Examiner, Richard Ucci.
It appears Swan drifted off the right side of the roadway colliding with an unoccupied semi-trailer parked in an adjacent pull-off.
Deputies are continuing their investigation into the accident.
