One dead, two children injured in head-on crash

Town of Dryden, NY (WBNG Binghamton) One person is dead following a two-car, head-on collision in Tompkins County.

New York State Police responded to State Route 13 in the Town of Dryden around 4:30 p.m. Sunday.

Troopers said Timothy Starr, 31, of Lansing, New York died at the scene.

Rachelle Williams, 24, of Sylvan Beach was driving north on Route 13, when she entered the southbound lane. Her vehicle collided with Starr's.

Three passengers, including two children in Williams' car, were flown to University Hospital in Syracuse. Their condition is listed as "serious."

Troopers said the investigation is ongoing and have not said whether drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash.
