One trapped inside car in Town of Binghamton accident

Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) A car crash left two people injured and one trapped inside their car.

On Sunday, just before 11 a.m. a car was attempting to back into a driveway on Park Ave, between Stevens Road and Parkwood Lane when another struck it.

New York State Police in Kirkwood said one car went off the road and into the woods.

The driver of that care was stuck, and the Jaws of Life and other rescue tools were called to the scene to cut the person out of their car.

Two people involved in the accident were transported to local hospitals for injuries.

An area of Park Ave. was closed due to the accident.

The Town of Binghamton Fire Department assisted state police at the scene.
