Oneonta, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Oneonta lifted the water conservation emergency Thursday afternoon, as the water supply line to the treatment plant has been repaired.

Residents and businesses were asked to take water conservation steps on Wednesday due to a break in a water supply line.

The city said this break only affected water going into the treatment plant, not into residents' homes. Water was still safe to use and drink.
