A playground accessible to all children

Town of Dickinson, NY (WBNG Binghamton) At Otsiningo Park, a new area of the playground specifically designed for children with disabilities opened on Thursday.

The new equipment was built next to the park's current playground.

The Binghamton Rotary raised $15,000 for the new play set.

Art Garrison, Director of Parks and Recreation Youth Service in Broome County, said this new playground could help the development of similar playgrounds in our area. .

"We're hoping that this program will be seen and duplicated throughout our county and neighboring counties," said Garrison.

The new equipment can be used by all children, regardless of whether they have a disability.
