Tioga Boro, PA (WBNG Binghamton) Pennsylvania State Police have made an arrest in a nearly eight year old fatal hit and run accident.

In October 2006, 34-year old Rhonda Fromm and her husband Michael Fromm were driving on State Route 287.

State police now say 44-year old Simon Gigee of Westfield, Pa. was behind the wheel of a Dodge truck towing a stolen trailer in the opposite lane, when the trailer became detached and spun out of control.

Rhonda Fromm was killed on impact and Michael Fromm was injured.

Troopers said Gigee fled from the scene and did not report the accident.

State police say several witnesses have indicated Gigee talked about the crash in their presence.

He has been charged with two counts of Accidents Involving Death or Personal Injury. One count is for the death of Rhonda Fromm, the other count is for the injuries to Michael Fromm.

Gigee was arraigned on Monday and taken to the Tioga County Jail on $100,000 bail.
