Pa. woman killed in car crash after hitting tow truck

Union Township, PA (WBNG Binghamton) A 67-year-old woman died Sunday morning after crashing into a tow truck

According to Pennsylvania State Police, Sandra L. Passeri, 67, Roaring Branch, PA, was driving the car and two other passengers were inside.

Police said she lost control of her 1992 Buick Park Avenue around 1 a.m. on the snow and slush covered road and spun out of control. The car hit the back of a tow truck, which had a vehicle on it.

The Tioga County Coroner pronounced Sandra Passeri dead at the scene.

The passengers, Mary M. Baker, 46, Roaring Branch, PA, and John R. Passeri, 23, Roaring Branch, PA, were taken to Williamsport General Hospital.
