Pacherille Trial Moved Back

Cooperstown, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Jury selection for the trial of a Cooperstown teen charged with attempted murder has been pushed back.

On April 2, 2010, Anthony Pacherille, 16, chased a teen from from Cooperstown High School into the Cooperstown Police Station with a 22 caliber rifle.

Police say Pacherille then shot the boy in the arm and then shot himself in the face.

Pacherille is charged with attempted murder, attempted assualt, and criminal use of a firearm.

Jury selection for the trial was suppose to begin Monday, but the defense made a motion to postpone it because their defense expert wasn't available to testify.

It will now be reschedule until the weeks of May 23rd and June 3rd.
