Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Music fills the Mad Moose in Binghamton.

A monthly "flocking" turns into a benefit for two area organizations after the floods.

Mad Moose on Chenango Street was "rocking" on Sunday. The Pirates of the Susquehanna, Parrot Head Club, held an event all day.

The group is collecting donations for the Salvation Army's disaster relief fund and the Humane Society.

The Pirates of the Susquehanna, Parrot Head Club meets every month and they thought no better way to come together and raise money this time for those organizations in need.

Non-perishable food items and cleaning supplies for the Salvation Army were also collected. Donations of pet supplies for the Humane Society were also brought in.

"I appreciate everyone who came out tonight, the owner here who opened up their venue and the people who came were wonderful, they opened their wallets and shelled out for all the things that need to be done. Neighbors coming together, That's what we need," said Don Winfield, Organizer.

Five live Trop Rock acts performed throughout the day. Nearly 300 people came out Sunday to the fundraiser.
