Lawrence Township, PA (WBNG Binghamton) Pennsylvania State Police accused a man of firing shots and assaulting two women Wednesday.
Troopers responded around to a home around 10 p.m., where Donald Peltier, 42, of Hanover, was arguing with Chelsea Wood, 18 at 121 Somers Lane.
Sandra Kinney, 68 and Gene Kinney, 72 also lived at the home with their daughter Marie Peltier.
Marie Peltier had divorced Donald Peltier but the two were trying to work it out, according to police.
Sandra Kinney told Donald Peltier to leave the house because of the argument with Wood, but Donald Peltier refused.
Sandra Kinney grabbed a .22 caliber revolver out of fear, according to troopers.
Donald Peltier grabbed the loaded gun and the two struggled.
He struck Sandra Kinney in the face and forced her against a stove.
He fired a shot into the ceiling and another round down the hallway. before pointing the gun at Gene Kinney, threatening to kill him.
Donald Peltier then struck Wood in the face and body, causing her hand to swell.
Troopers charged Donald Peltier with simple assault, terroristic threats, recklessly endangering another, discharging a firearm into an occupied structure and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Troopers took him to Tioga County jail with a preliminary arraignment scheduled for Thursday.
