Police Release Pictures Of Bank Robber

On Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at approximately 1:33 p.m., the Conklin, NY (WBNG Binghamton) New York State Police are seeking the public's help to identify a suspect in the robbery of the First Niagara Bank in Conklin.

Trooper responded to the branch located at 1115 Conklin Road around 1:30 pm Wednesday.

Investigators on the scene said the robber entered the bank and gave a note to a teller demanding cash. No weapon was displayed.

They also said the description of the bank robber was similar to the one given when the bank was robbed on November 14, 2012.

According to state police, the suspect is a white male approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, in his late 20’s to early 30’s.

He wore dark colored sweat pants, a black jacket, black knit cap with brim, gloves, white sneakers, and a camouflaged bandanna covering his face.

The man was last seen exiting the bank, possibly in a blue Buick style vehicle, heading south on State Route 7.
