Plan to build for seniors moves forward

Towanda, PA (WBNG Binghamton) Pennsylvania will allow for one million dollars in tax credits to help construct a senior living development in Towanda.

State Representative Tina Pickett made the announcement Friday.
Construction will start at the 400 block of Main Street.

The development includes 38 one-bedroom units for those 62-years-old and up.

It's a project by the Trehab Community Action Agency, which aids groups at risk.

Bradford County's investing $500,000 by taping state Housing Affordability and Rehabilitation Enhancement funding.
