Police Investigate Manley's Robbery

Johnson City, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Police are investigating a Friday morning gas station robbery.

According to Johnson City Police:

The Johnson City Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the Manley's Mighty Mart located at 143 Riverside Dr Johnson City.

At about 7:15 a.m. a black male entered the store displayed a handgun and demanded money from the clerk.

The suspect then locked the clerk into an office within the store and fled the area. The suspect made away with an undisclosed amount of money and was last seen running Westbound.

The suspect is described as a dark skinned black male, late teens to early 20's, approximately 5 feet 7 inches - 5 feet 9 inches, thin build, last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with white strings, black baseball cap and blue jeans - rolled up at the ankles, grey sneakers with a bright green nike symbol on the side.

The Johnson City Police Department were assisted by the Binghamton Police Department and the Broome County Sheriff's Office.
