Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) - Binghamton Police are investigating an armed robbery that happened early Sunday morning.
It happened just after 12:30 a.m. at the Xtra Mart at 227 Court Street downtown.
Binghamton Police say the suspect entered the store, displayed a knife, and demanded money.
He fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police are still looking for the suspect, who is described as a white male, near 30 years of age.
He was around 5'8" tall, and weighed 180 to 200 lbs.
He was also wearing jeans and black parka.
