Police: Man breaks window, threatens patron in local bar

Town of Chenango, NY (WBNG Binghamton) A man threatened another person and broke out a window at a bar off Route 12, according to the Broome County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies said the incident happened at about 11:41 p.m. Friday at Davey’s Bar.

They said James McBride, 25, caused a disturbance inside the bar and was asked to leave.

He broke a window and threatened another bar patron, according to a county news release.

According to officials, he then fled the scene, but was found a short time later walking along Route 79.

Officials arrested McBride, and he is expected to appear in the Town of Barker Court at a later date.

McBride is charged with one count of menacing in the second degree and one count of criminal mischief in the fourth degree, both misdemeanors.
