Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Three Binghamton University students are arrested after police raided two fraternities parties over homecoming weekend.

Officers posing as BU students showed up to a joint fraternity party early Saturday morning.

Tau Alpha Upsilon fraternity on Exchange Street and the Alpha Chi Rho fraternity on Hawley Street are nearly linked by backyards.

When undercover officers entered, they were charged money for alcohol and noticed hundreds of underage students drinking.

Police stopped the party and also requested busses and taxi cabs to make sure students could safely return to campus.

The three students arrested were Claude Fong and Zachary Stein, both 21 and Matthew Opramolia, 20, who each face a misdemeanor charge of prohibited sales of alcohol.
