Police searching for two Elmira robbery suspects

Elmira, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Police are searching for two men accused of robbing an Elmira home early Thursday morning.

Elmira Police said the call came in around 1:30 a.m. at a home in the 500 block of West First Street.

The two suspects are reported to have been armed with handguns, according to police.

Several items were taken, including money and cell phones, police said.

Police said no one was injured.

The first suspect is described as a black male with a light complexion, 6 feet tall and medium build. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt and khaki pants.

The second suspect is described as a black male with a dark complexion, average height and slender build. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt and dark jeans.

The suspects were seen leaving the scene in a small, dark-colored vehicle with chrome rims, according to police.
