(WBNG Binghamton) A longtime Vestal resident and school board president is throwing her hat into the ring for Broome County Legislature.

Democrat Kim Meyers said she hopes to represent the Fourth District.

The seat is currently held by Democrat Daniel Reynolds, who's running for Broome County Family Court Judge and is not seeking reelection.

Myers has served on the Vestal Board of Education for 18 years, with nine of them as President.
