Bingahmton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Dozens of people filled Tech Works in Binghamton to help raise money, eat food, and drink craft beer.

Sudsy Brews and Fiery Foods Festival tantalized taste buds with a bakers dozen worth of breweries and spicy food samples.

Breweries from all over New York, even some from right here in Broome County, poured their best stuff for a good cause.

All proceeds of the event went to revitalizing Tech Works' current building on Water Street.

"It's important on two levels. First, it's important to have people tasting your beers of course. But the other, is that it's for a good cause and that's important too," said co-owner of Galaxy Brewing Co., Michael Weisel.

Festival goers also learned how beer is made.
