Peace Action remembers Hiroshima, Nagasaki

Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Members of Peace Action of Broome and the community came together to remember the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan during World War II.

Broome County Peace Action holds an annual event in remembrance.

The group held a breakfast and rang the bells outside of the First Congregational Church. People also commented on what they felt needs to be done to reduce and/or abolish nuclear weapons

This year marked the 68th anniversary of the bombings.
