Red Roof Inn clerk robbed at knifepoint

Johnson City, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Johnson City Police are investigating an overnight robbery at the Red Roof Inn.

A approximately 12:15 a.m. Monday, officers were called to a knifepoint robbery at the business located at 590 Fairview St.

The suspect is described as a skinny white male, wearing a blue shirt, blue “gym” type shorts, black sneakers and a mask and gloves. Police said the suspect showed a knife and demanded money from the clerk. He then fled with an unknown amount of cash. He was last seen heading westbound on Fairview St.
