UPDATE: Endicott Police search for robbery suspects

Endicott, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The Endicott Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred early Monday morning.

Police were called to the intersection of Jenkins Street and Squires Avenue at 1:21 a.m.

According to police, a 44-year-old woman was walking home when she was approached by two suspects. One of the men displayed a handgun and demanded the victim’s purse. The suspects then fled the scene on foot.

Vestal Police and the Broome County Sheriff’s office were called to assist at the scene. According to Endicott Police, a sheriff’s department K9 officer tracked the suspects to the area of the 300 block of Oak Hill Avenue before the scent was lost. The victim was not injured during the incident.

The suspects are described as two black males in their late teens or early twenties, one wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and jeans the other wearing a white hooded sweatshirt and red pants.
