Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Tri-Cities Opera announced its 66th season and unveils local artwork to accompany it.

The 2014-15 season of Revenge, Revelry and Redemption will open this fall with Rigoletto on October 24 and 26. The Italian Girl in Algiers will run on February 6 and 8, and closing the season will be Faust on April 17 and 19.

The Interim General Director Judy Berry said these shows are the perfect time to enjoy your first or 50th opera.

"The opera in general brings together all the art forms, we have the symphony, we have dance, we have the costumes, we have acting and it's all in one night, grand spectacle," Berry said.

TCO also unveiled the artwork for the new season created by a local artist and educator.

Chenango Forks High School fine arts teacher Keith Roskow created the designs and posters for each show.

He used this freelance work as an opportunity to teach as well, giving his students a chance to see the stresses and deadlines of a job that took 6 weeks.

"They got to see me do something that I was told 'that's not good enough, we need something better, we need something else' which was, I think, really healthy for them to see," Roskow said.
