Roads Closed Due to Flooding

October 1, 2010 Updated Oct 1, 2010 at 6:24 AM EST

Some roads are closed due to flooding or flood damage.

Broome County has a listed of closed roads on its website.

Cortland County says most of its roads have now reopened, except for Route 11. That will remain closed between Cortlandville and Marathon until a bridge can be inspected for safety.

In Susquehanna County, Bolles Hill Road is closed.

Delaware County has issued a travel advisory and is discouraging all travel until the storm has passed and crews can clean up. Many roads there are closed because of flooded roads or downed trees and power lines.

If you come to any water-covered road, turn around and find another route.
