Endwell, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Students at Maine-Endwell Middle School were able to have an experience that not many people have ever seen- a rooftop concert on their last day of school.

The students listened to their classmates sing a summertime playlist to them, as well as hear a guitar solo.

The principal of the school said after the year the students and the staff have had, this was a fun way to give back.

"This has been a different year this year, with all the new standards and all of that. And the kids, I feel, and the staff have worked really hard to do their best. And so I thought at the end of the year, lets have some fun," said Rick Otis, Principal at Maine-Endwell Middle School.

Principal Otis also said he would like to wish the eight graders moving on to the high school the best of luck.
