Town of Dickinson, N.Y. (WBNG Binghamton) A routine traffic stop on Thursday resulted in several arrests.
Members of the Broome County Sheriff''s Office Patrol Division were conducting an investigation at a local motel when they noticed a car speeding in the parking lot.
Deputies chased the car and were able to stop it on Front Street, near Stearns Road.
The driver of the car attempted to use someone else's driver's license when stopped by police.
Teresa Rojas, 24, of Binghamton, was arrested for criminal impersonation, a second degree misdemeanor. She was also charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, along with several other vehicle and traffic tickets.
A passenger, Kenneth Biggs, 36, of Binghamton, was also charged with criminal impersonation after he attempted to give a false name to a deputy, in order to elude outstanding warrants.
Biggs' daughter, Kwannasia Barnes, 21, of Binghamton, was also in the vehicle.
Deputies said she lied about her father's identity and was arrested for obstructing governmental administration.
A fourth passenger, Roberta Jo Pewterbaugh, 40, of Binghamton was found with narcotics and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Rojas, Biggs, and Barnes were taken to Broome County Jail.
Pewterbaugh was released with a ticket to appear in court at a later date.
