Town of Dickinson, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Staff at SUNY Broome got a head start Thursday, as the college welcomed back some of its faculty, staff and new hires to discuss plans for the semesters ahead.

SUNY Broome President Dr. Kevin Drumm led a convocation on campus and said, "This is our welcome back to our faculty and more importantly for everyone, a kick-off to the new academic year."

The welcoming meeting gave SUNY Broome the chance to talk about changes at the college with new and old employees, including increased enrollment, two new buildings and the brand new dorms.

The first ever move-in day into the new dorms at SUNY Broome is on Saturday. Classes start on Tuesday.
